Elena Levit
Dr. Elena Levit was born in Russia and studied with Neuhaus student Berta Merans at the Nizhnij Novgorod Conservatory.
She is one of the leading piano teachers, especially for young pianists, of her generation. She has now trained several generations of young musicians at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, where she was appointed honorary professor for her special services at the Institute for the Early Promotion of the Musically Highly Gifted, among other things.
Her students are winners of countless first prizes at national and international piano competitions. The pianist and pedagogue works at the Institute for the Early Support of Musically Gifted Students at the Hanover University of Music and Drama.
